Although it may feel like it – especially when amazing results are achieved in a short time – there is nothing magical about hypnosis!

Hypnotherapy is an entirely collaborative process that empowers you to tap into your inner resources and make positive changes in your life.

During a session, I’ll guide you into a relaxed state of heightened focus and concentration, known as trance, making it easier for your subconscious mind to embrace the transformation you want to achieve. Throughout the session, you’re always in control.

I act as a facilitator, guiding the process and providing you with a safe and supportive environment in which you can develop new perspectives, beliefs, and coping strategies.

They were developed by Dr. Edward Bach, a renowned bacteriologist, physician, and pathologist in the early 20th century.

For instance, Mimulus addresses anxiety or fear related to a particular concern, and taking the remedy aids in overcoming fear and approaching the situation with courage.

Dr. Bach believed that by nurturing a healthy emotional life and achieving a balanced personality, our bodies can naturally attain a state of well-being and he created 38 different flower remedies to address specific emotional states and imbalances.

Yes, generally speaking, most people can be hypnotised. Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility that can be induced by a trained hypnotist or through self-hypnosis techniques. However, the depth and effectiveness of hypnosis can vary from person to person.

Research shows that hypnosis is a valid help for pain management, gastrointestinal issues etc, as well as an effective tool for personal achievements (i.e. exam-taking, academic or sport performance, public speaking etc), habit change (quit smoking, lose weight, stop nail biting, etc), and to increase relaxation (manage stress, overcome fears), as well as to manage emotions such as anger or anxiety.

Yes, hypnosis is generally considered safe when performed by a trained and certified professional. It is a natural state of focused attention and relaxation that allows individuals to access their subconscious mind.

No one can remain hypnotised forever. Hypnosis is a temporary state of altered consciousness, usually used for specific purposes, such as relaxation, behavior modification, or therapeutic interventions. The effects of hypnosis typically wear off naturally over time, and you will return to your normal state of consciousness.

It’s important to note that hypnosis is a cooperative process, and you have control over your own mind and actions.

In a therapeutic setting, hypnosis is typically conducted with the full consent and cooperation of the individual being hypnotised. The hypnotherapist works in collaboration with the client to achieve their desired goals, such as quitting smoking or managing anxiety.

Hypnotherapy aims to empower individuals and enhance their well-being, giving them control over their circumstances – which is the opposite of manipulation!

All hypnosis is in fact self-hypnosis, as the therapist facilitates an agreed-upon altering of the client’s consciousness, who is always in control.

It is widely held that the active ingredient in these remedies involves a form of energy or vibration, which is believed to be transferred from the living flower to the water during the creation of the mother tinctures.
